Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Lions vs. Hillcrest Trojans

The Arlington Lions will square off against the Hillcrest Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arlington will be strutting in after a victory while Hillcrest will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Arlington didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Palm Springs, but they still walked away with a 48-43 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Poly and fell 62-32. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Arlington's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-11. As for Hillcrest, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.

Arlington was able to grind out a solid win over Hillcrest in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 54-42. Does Arlington have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hillcrest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
