Baseball Recap: Ville Platte Takes a Loss

Ville Platte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They lost 21-2 to the Rapides Mustangs.

Ville Platte saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Anderson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases. Amari Doucet also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Ville Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Rapides, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-12.

As of now, neither Ville Platte nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
