With a playoff win on the line, Medfield rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Middlesex Regional Patriots a 5-0 shutout. Medfield might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by three goals or more this season.

Medfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 61 goals over those 14 contests. As for North Middlesex Regional, they moved to 13-5-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.
