Long Beach and Biloxi are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The Bearcats will challenge the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Long Beach is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Long Beach proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Pass Christian 3-2.

Meanwhile, Biloxi made easy work of Picayune on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Maroon Tide: they've now won four in a row.

Biloxi's got stronger as the match went on, holding Picayune to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 25-9.

Biloxi's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Long Beach, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Long Beach skirted past Biloxi 3-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
