Softball Game Preview: Grandview Greyhounds vs. Quincy Jackrabbits

Grandview is 0-5 against Quincy since May of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Greyhounds will square off against the Jackrabbits at 3:00 p.m. Grandview has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Grandview lost 16-4 to East Valley on Tuesday. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaliyah Hernandez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to Selah, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Grandview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-2. As for Quincy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-18.

Grandview might still be hurting after the 18-8 defeat they got from Quincy when the teams last played back in April of 2018. Can the Greyhounds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
