Basketball Recap: Elkin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cornerstone Charter on Thursday, Elkin came back down to earth. The Elkin Buckin' Elks were outmatched by the Galax Maroon Tide and fell 49-17. The match marked the Buckin' Elks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Elkin has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Galax, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
