Volleyball Recap: Oakdale Comes Up Short

Oakdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Mountain House. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mountain House this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-7, 25-11.

Zyston Bright was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 17 assists and eight digs. Oswin Han also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Oakdale's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Mountain House, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

Oakdale has already played their next contest (against East Union), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mountain House, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Sierra on the 9th.
