Volleyball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

Harrison lost against Mount Paran Christian back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hoyas fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Hoyas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harrison was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mount Paran Christian work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-16.

Leila Smith paced Harrison's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Skye Palmateer and her ten assists.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mount Paran Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Harrison and Mount Paran Christian will both be playing Cherokee the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Hoyas will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
