Baseball Recap: Harrah Takes a Loss

Harrah extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 14-12. They lost 15-5 to the Kingfisher Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Monday.

As for Kingfisher, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-12. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 9th (when they won 13-0).

For Kingfisher's part, Drew Snider made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Snider was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted over his last nine matchups.

In other batting news, Brett Calamateo was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Collin Farrar was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Coming up, Harrah will take on Lindsay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingfisher, they will square off against Douglass at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
