Baseball Game Preview: Ogemaw Heights Falcons vs. Farwell Eagles

The Ogemaw Heights Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Farwell Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Ogemaw Heights and four for Farwell.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Ogemaw Heights nor Shepherd made it on the board until the eighth inning. The Falcons fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Falcons have suffered since May 10, 2024.

Conner Lambert was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Angel Potter, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Farwell's offense. They came up short against Beaverton on Tuesday, falling 9-0.

Ogemaw Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Farwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
