Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bloomfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Clay City Eels by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on May 3rd.

Dillon Warnick made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bloomfield has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Clay City, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

As of now, neither Bloomfield nor the Eels have any future games scheduled.
