Football Recap: Sparks Comes Up Short

Sparks was the 21-6 winner over Incline when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Railroaders fell 21-15 to the Highlanders on Friday. While the Railroaders had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Highlanders 9-0.

Sparks' loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sparks will take on Spring Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Railroaders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Incline, they will venture away from home to face off against Hug at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
