Volleyball Recap: Roanoke-Benson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Roanoke-Benson lost against Putnam County last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

While Roanoke-Benson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23.

Jordyn Tomlinson paced Roanoke-Benson's offense, picking up ten kills. Tomlinson got some help from Haley Hodel and her 14 assists.

Roanoke-Benson's loss dropped their record down to 9-23-1. As for Putnam County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-14-1.

Roanoke-Benson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Marquette on the 23rd. As for Putnam County, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Princeville on the 27th.
