Softball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Oak Ridge War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in February.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Oak Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cleveland will challenge rival Grand Oaks at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oak Ridge is set to take on their familiar foe College Park at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
