Softball Recap: Ridgeway Comes Up Short

The Ridgeway Roadrunners came up short against the Lakeland Preparatory Lions on Tuesday, falling 20-1.

Ridgeway now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lakeland Preparatory, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeway will challenge Raleigh-Egypt at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakeland Preparatory, they will face off against Briarcrest Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Saints have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
