Baseball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton fell victim to Schalick and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 18-0. The Clippers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Clayton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Delaney, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Schalick, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clayton will venture away from home to take on Pennsville Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Schalick, they will square off against Overbrook at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
