Basketball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson and Guilford squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Jefferson had to settle for second. They came up short against the Guilford Vikings, falling 61-37. The defeat continues a trend for the J-Hawks in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost eight in a row.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Guilford, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor Guilford have any future games scheduled.
