Football Recap: Herculaneum Takes a Loss

If Herculaneum was feeling good fresh off their 50-20 takedown of Cuba last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Cats took a 36-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grandview Eagles on Friday. The matchup marked the Black Cats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Herculaneum's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Grandview, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Herculaneum will take on Bayless at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Black Cats will be up against the Bronchos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Grandview, they will square off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
