Filer hasn't had much luck against Sun Valley Community recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Filer Wildcats will challenge the Sun Valley Community Cutthroats at 6:15 p.m. Filer will be strutting in after a win while Sun Valley Community will be coming in after a loss.
Filer will bounce into Monday's game after beating Buhl, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Filer never let Buhl onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.
Meanwhile, Sun Valley Community faced Wood River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Sun Valley Community lost 9-1 to Wood River. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Cutthroats were already down 5-1.
