Soccer Game Preview: Northwest Guilford vs. East Forsyth + Official Tickets

The Northwest Guilford Vikings will take on the East Forsyth Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Northwest Guilford came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against West Forsyth, falling 4-0. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Forsyth). They blew past Parkland 7-2 on Monday. With East Forsyth ahead 5-1 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

East Forsyth's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-12-1. As for Northwest Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6-2.

Northwest Guilford beat East Forsyth by a goal in their previous matchup on October 1st, winning 3-2. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
