Softball Recap: John Paul II Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for John Paul II's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats on Friday.

John Paul II saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie Heathcott, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

John Paul II now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

While John Paul II had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
