Softball Recap: Forest Comes Up Short

If Forest was feeling good fresh off their 20-4 takedown of Leake County last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Forest Bearcats lost 21-6 to the Pelahatchie Chiefs on Tuesday. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pelahatchie, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Forest will venture away from home to face off against Scott Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pelahatchie, they will take on Leake Central at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
