White Station came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Kingsbury Falcons out 49-47. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Falcons are ranked 318th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

White Station pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Kingsbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Memphis East the next time they take the court. White Station will host Memphis East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Kingsbury will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
