Football Recap: Stratton Eagles vs. Caliche Buffaloes
With a playoff game on the line, Stratton rose to the challenge on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Caliche Buffaloes 59-13. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by 32 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Stockton Fye, who rushed for 245 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Brody Webb was another major influence, as he rushed for 77 yards and ran in a TD.
Stratton's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.9 points. As for Caliche, they moved to 10-2 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
