Basketball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Skates Past Lawton-Bronson with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute, Kingsley-Pierson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the Lawton-Bronson Eagles to the tune of 71-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted since December 17, 2024.

Kingsley-Pierson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points over those games. As for Lawton-Bronson, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers face off against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Kingsley-Pierson is facing Northwest Webster at the right time seeing as Northwest Webster is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lawton-Bronson, they will take on South Central Calhoun on February 15th.
