Soccer Game Preview: Cedar Park vs. Leander

The Cedar Park Timberwolves will head out on the road to take on the Leander Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Leander took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cedar Park, who comes in off a win.

Cedar Park barely beat Lehman the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Timberwolves put the hurt on the Lobos with a sharp 4-1 victory on Wednesday. Cedar Park haven't had any issues with Lehman recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Leander fell victim to Hays and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0.

Cedar Park's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Leander, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-4.

Everything went Cedar Park's way against Leander when the teams last played back in February of 2025, as Cedar Park made off with a 4-0 win. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
