Loyd Star has gone a perfect 8-0 against Hazlehurst recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hornets will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Loyd Star proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out North Pike 3-2.

Loyd Star hit the Jaguars with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brody Thibodeaux, Kaleb Waldrop, and Jamisyn Kelly.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Hazlehurst made sure to put some goals up on the board against McComb on Tuesday. They never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Considering Hazlehurst have won three matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Loyd Star's record now sits at 3-0. As for Hazlehurst, their record is now 3-1.
