Softball Recap: Trivium Prep Takes a Loss

Trivium Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-4 to the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes. The Crimson Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Coby Luekenga made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases. Larkin Grimm also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Trivium Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trivium Prep will square off against Maryvale Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crimson Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Matador have averaged an impressive 15.7 runs per game this season. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they will face off against ALA - Anthem South at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Coyotes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 14.6 runs per game this season.
