Volleyball Recap: Carlsbad Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Carlsbad had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Classical Academy Caimans with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Caimans, too.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-17.

Carlsbad got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bennett Packard out in front who had 20 assists and four digs. Those four digs gave Packard a new career-high.

Carlsbad's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Carlsbad wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Corona del Mar on the 6th. As for Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against El Cajon Valley on the 4th.
