White Pine had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Battle Mountain Longhorns by a score of 2-0. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.

White Pine's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Battle Mountain, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

White Pine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln County on the 16th. As for Battle Mountain, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
