League recap: Head dominating on the mound for Davidson Academy

Laken Head was the best pitcher in Division II A East/Middle this week, leading Davidson Academy. He won one game and retired 11 batters.

Webb outperformed the rest of the league this week, as its three total wins led the league. The Spartans beat St. Andrews-Sewanee 14-0, Roane County 11-1 and the Mountain Lions 11-0.

The Bears boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.
