Baseball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short at Home Against Sedro-Woolley

Cascade unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Sedro-Woolley Cubs on Wednesday, falling 8-2. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

Cascade saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Wilson, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Coming up, Cascade will host Lynnwood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sedro-Woolley, they will square off against Meadowdale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
