Softball Game Preview: Las Vegas Wildcats vs. Chaparral Cowboys

The Las Vegas Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Chaparral Cowboys at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Las Vegas and nine for Chaparral.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Las Vegas' offense. They came up short against Southeast Career Tech on Wednesday, falling 22-0.

Meanwhile, Chaparral also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 20-0 to Southeast Career Tech last Thursday.

Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Chaparral, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Las Vegas took their win against Chaparral when the teams last played on April 9th by a conclusive 21-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
