Baseball Recap: Mabel-Canton Takes a Loss

Mabel-Canton came into this matchup off a tough nine-run loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

Mabel-Canton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Darian Hershberger, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Tyler Larson also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
