Monta Vista put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Live Oak Acorns by a score of 65-54. That's more bragging rights for the Matadors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Live Oak still got an impressive performance from Sam Ellingson, who went 7 of 15 en route to 20 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Ellingson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Nathan Lozano, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds.
