Volleyball Recap: Hesperia's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Hesperia had already won four in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Barstow Aztecs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The match marked the Scorpions' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hesperia took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-14.

Victoria Parra paced Hesperia's offense, picking up 14 kills. Parra got some help from Dylanna Akwaboah and her 36 assists. Akwaboah was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hesperia's win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Hesperia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Granite Hills on the 14th. As for Barstow, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Sultana on the 14th.
