He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 35 times he's played.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylan Jones, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Jones a new career-high in assists (three). Chase Guerrero was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.
