Volleyball Recap: Winfield Generals vs. Buffalo Bison

Buffalo typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Winfield proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged the Buffalo Bison out 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Generals who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Winfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Winfield found their leader in underclassman Natalie Cook, who had ten digs and three aces. Cook is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Winfield pushed their record up to 21-10-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Buffalo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 33-8-1.
