Basketball Game Preview: WACO Warriors vs. Louisa-Muscatine Falcons

The WACO Warriors will head out to challenge the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, WACO came up short against Pekin and fell 52-44.

Meanwhile, Louisa-Muscatine posted their biggest win since February 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past Wapello 68-47.

Louisa-Muscatine has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for WACO, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Everything went WACO's way against Louisa-Muscatine in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as WACO made off with a 59-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for WACO since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
