Casteel proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Brophy College Prep Broncos 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Colts: when they faced off against the Broncos back in March, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Casteel was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-22, 17-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Casteel was led to victory by Will Schneiderman and Layton Bluth. Schneiderman had 16 digs and eight assists, while Bluth had 22 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Bluth has posted since back in April.

Casteel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-11-1 record this season. As for Brophy College Prep, they moved to 26-11 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Casteel will venture away from home to challenge Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight. Brophy College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
