Football Game Preview: Whitesboro Warriors vs. Carthage Comets

The Whitesboro Warriors will be playing at home against the Carthage Comets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Whitesboro is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

Whitesboro is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 49-21 victory over Central Square. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Redhawks are ranked 361st) , the win on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Carthage strolled past Auburn with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 21-3. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Maroons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Whitesboro's record now sits at 8-1. As for Carthage, their record is now 7-2.
