Recap: Ralston Rams vs. Concordia Mustangs
The Ralston Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 76-56 defeat at the hands of Concordia. Ralston has struggled against Concordia recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Ralston saw an underclassman step up: Davinchi Gray scored 24 points. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Marce Holley, who scored nine points.
Ralston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Concordia, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Ralston will be home for the holidays to greet Skutt Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Skutt Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 212 points over their last three matches. Concordia will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Yutan on January 2, 2024.
