Baseball Recap: Glenwood Has No Trouble Against Oak Forest

Glenwood had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Oak Forest on Saturday. Glenwood blew past Oak Forest 12-1.

Andrew Wahlbrink looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, Henry Rose was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Grady Mueller, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Glenwood's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Oak Forest, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Glenwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Springfield on the 26th. As for Oak Forest, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Normal University on the 22nd.
