Basketball Recap: Marshfield Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Marshfield couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 43-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Helias Crusaders on Saturday. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Marshfield's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Helias, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-12 record.

Marshfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Helias, they will face off against St. Teresa's Academy on Friday. St. Teresa's Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Helias surely won't give up without a fight.
