Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Brito

It's playoff time, and Brito had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Master's Academy Patriots on Tuesday, sneaking past 9-7. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Hector Santos was excellent, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Luis Amariz was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Brito was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Master's Academy only posted a batting average of .250.

Brito's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Master's Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 20-10.

Brito will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
