Baseball Preview: Holy Redeemer Royals vs. Tunkhannock Tigers        
        
		
            
 The Holy Redeemer Royals will head out on the road to  face off against  the Tunkhannock Tigers at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Thursday, Holy Redeemer had just enough and edged North Pocono out  6-5.
  Drew Cisney was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits. Cisney was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Cisney wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Nick Mazzarella, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Tunkhannock came into Tuesday's   match having lost 12 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-3  win over Berwick  on Tuesday.
 The team  relied heavily on  Colin Gregory, who  went 2-for-2 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.
 Holy Redeemer's record now sits at 14-5. As for Tunkhannock, their victory  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-13.
 Holy Redeemer took their  win against Tunkhannock  when the teams last played  back in March of 2023 by a conclusive  11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Holy Redeemer since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
