Elida is a perfect 3-0 against Ottawa-Glandorf since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Titans at 5:30 p.m. Elida is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Elida's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Shawnee. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.
Lilly Sifrit made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Carly Chiles, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Ottawa-Glandorf narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Kalida 9-7.
Haley Meyer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Maci Hovest was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Ottawa-Glandorf kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 3.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 11.2.
Ottawa-Glandorf is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Elida, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
