Soccer Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

Homer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Soldotna Stars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Soldotna this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Tuesday.

Homer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Soldotna, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Homer has already played their next matchup, a 7-1 loss against Kenai Central on the 12th. As for Soldotna, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Juneau-Douglas on the 8th.
