Basketball Recap: Father McGivney Catholic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Father McGivney Catholic lost against Althoff Catholic back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Griffins were beaten by the Crusaders 56-29. The Griffins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.

Despite the defeat, Father McGivney Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brendan Kayser posted seven points and seven rebounds. Jacob Robinson also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first board of the season.

Father McGivney Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Althoff Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Father McGivney Catholic will challenge Mulberry Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Althoff Catholic, they will take on Marquette Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
