Volleyball Recap: Waupun Extends Winning Streak to Three

Waupun had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lake Mills L-Cats by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Waupun had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Hayden Schultz paced Waupun's offense, picking up 12 kills. Schultz got some help from Alexis Babiash and her 23 assists.

Waupun's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lake Mills, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-3.

Waupun has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Portage on the 13th. As for Lake Mills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Waterloo on the 13th.
